Terms of Service

1. Who we are, and acceptance of these terms
BusinessWurth is a trading name of Tarryn Valle ("BusinessWurth", "we", "us"). You can contact us at support@businesswurth.com. By creating an account or using BusinessWurth ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled.
2. What the Service is
BusinessWurth produces a valuation fact sheet for a private business, based on financial documents and information you provide, using established valuation approaches and AI-assisted data extraction. It is a tool for informational purposes — see "Not professional advice" below.
3. Accounts
You need an account to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be authorized to share the business and financial information you upload.
4. Fees and payment
The Service is offered on a one-time, per-valuation basis at the price shown at checkout (US$79 at the time of writing, including any applicable sales tax or VAT) — no subscription, no recurring charge. A revaluation of the same business in a later period is charged again at the same rate. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes your payment, issues your invoice or receipt, collects and remits any sales tax or VAT, and issues any refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms, shown at checkout. BusinessWurth never sees or stores your full card details. Prices may change, but the price you're charged is the price shown to you before you confirm payment.
5. Refunds
Your valuation starts immediately after payment and, as a digital product made from your documents, is not refundable for a change of mind or because you disagree with the resulting valuation. Before paying, you are asked to agree that your valuation may start immediately and that you lose any statutory right to cancel (such as the 14-day cancellation right for consumers in the UK and EU) once it does. You remain entitled to a full refund if your valuation cannot be completed from your documents after you have had the chance to add or replace them at no extra charge, or if your finished report contains a genuine defect — a computational error in the valuation, or a formatting or rendering problem in the report itself. Refund requests are made through "Get help" in your account and are reviewed by a person before any money moves. We may decline a refund where there is evidence of fraud or abuse. 6. Not professional advice, not a regulated financial service
BusinessWurth is not a certified business appraisal and is not prepared by, or reviewed on a per-report basis by, a licensed valuator, accountant, or lawyer. It is not suitable for use in court proceedings, tax filings, or any matter requiring a credentialed, defensible appraisal. BusinessWurth is not a financial adviser, investment adviser, broker-dealer, or other regulated financial services provider in any jurisdiction, and the Service is not a regulated financial product or service. The Service does not provide investment advice, financial advice, trading signals, trading strategies, or a personalized recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or value any security, business, business interest, or other financial instrument. Every fact sheet is generated automatically by software from the documents and answers you provide; the founder's qualifications described on this website are general background about who built the Service, not a personal, per-client professional opinion. Nothing produced by the Service is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it should not be relied on as the sole basis for a transaction, financing, or legal decision. Speak to an appropriately licensed professional for advice specific to your situation.
7. Your data and content
You own the financial documents and information you upload, and the fact sheet generated for you. You grant BusinessWurth the license needed to process what you upload in order to provide the Service — see the Privacy Policy for the full detail on how your data is used, stored, and can be deleted.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to upload information you're not authorized to share, to attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or to use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, BusinessWurth disclaims warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any valuation produced, and is not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the report in question.
10. Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time from My Data — this permanently removes your businesses, documents, extracted figures, reports, and account itself. We may suspend or terminate an account for a violation of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date below will change when we do. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use the Service as a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow it.
